The father of a 7 year old biracial Michigan girl is suing the school district for $1 million dollars.
It started when she came home from school with half of her hair cut off. She said a student didn't.
The father took her to the salon to get her hair 'evened-out.'
When she came home from school the next day after the hair cut, the father noticed more of her hair had been cut. She said a teacher did it.
The lawsuit alleges the biracial girl's constitutional rights were violated, racial discrimination, ethnic intimidation, intentional infliction of emotional distress and assault and battery.
While the school did investigate the incident, they never spoke to the father or his daughter.
His daughter now attends a different school.
