Jay-Z's Blueprint was released on Tuesday September 11, 2001.
The same day as 9/11.
Ironically that was not the scheduled release date.
He moved his album up due to bootleggers. Songs were leaking to the public.
Prior to 9/11, when a Jay-Z album dropped you went to the store EXPEDITIOUSLY to buy it that day.
But on 9/11 people were afraid to go out.
Blueprint had songs like, 'Girls, Girls, Girls', 'Song Cry' and the infamous 'Takeover'.
