That is pretty much what happened to Leslie Odom, Jr.
He applied multiple times for a movie that he had no idea what it was.
They never gave him a script, more like scenarios.
He finally got the role in the new Sopranos movie.
They keep things very tight to the vest. They're like the MCU [Marvel Cinematic Universe].
Leslie's character will be Harold McBrayer. He will be the first Black gangster in the Sopranos franchise.
