Normani's new song, Wild Side has an Aaliyah One In a Million feel.
Aaliyah's uncle, Barry Hankerson has spoken out about the song and said permission was not given to sample the song and the more honorable thing to do would have been to get approval to sample One in A Million.
However, he gives the song his blessings.
I will not stand in the way of something that brings to light the incredible staying power of Aaliyah. So in that light wishing Normani well with the song and her overall career. I think Aaliyah would be pleased.
