Bill Gates thinks a third dose of vaccine might be needed to protect people from the growing number of coronavirus variants.
During an interview with CBS Evening News, Gates said that vaccine makers are already looking at making a modified version better equipped to handle the South African and Brazillian variants.
Gates also thinks coronavirus vaccinations will continue to be necessary in future years - but likely not as a yearly shot.
