Mariah Carey helped Colin Kaepernick trend during the second half of the Super Bowl after the NFL aired their “Inspire Change” commercial discussing their commitment to fighting systemic racism.
"Happy Colin Kaepernick Appreciation Day!" Mariah tweeted. Others followed in Carey’s footsteps with messages of their own to the NFL.
"Just saw a commercial that the NFL is committing $250 Million to end systemic racism yet they can’t even commit a couple million to get Colin Kaepernick signed to a team..." wrote one user.
