San Francisco just announced a mandatory 10-day quarantine for anyone coming into the city from outside the Bay .
The quarantine order, will take effect at 12:01 a.m. Friday(12/17) and last until at least 12:01 a.m. on Jan. 4.
The new order applies to returning residents and those moving to the city, who spent any time outside the following nearby counties:
San Mateo, Santa Clara, Alameda, Contra Costa, Solano, Sonoma, Napa, Marin and Santa Cruz.
Numbers in SF have been going up and the city is going to extremes to make sure they get them to go down the best they can.
