You'll see plenty of former NFL players in the newly-relaunched XFL. But one famous ex-player you won't be seeing on the field anytime soon is Colin Kaepernick.
XFL commissioner Oliver Luck says they talked to Kaepernick's agent and that the former Niners QB's salary demands were "exorbitant and certainly out of our range".
Last year, there were reports that Kaepernick wanted as much as $20 million to play in the now-defunct AAF. The XFL currently pays quarterbacks around $500K per season and most other players somewhere around $55K.
