The CDC says Americans don't need to wear a facemask to avoid the coronavirus.
While the virus continues to spread in China, the CDC annouced on Tuesday that coronavirus is not spreading in American communities.
The CDC's recommendations for prevention are the same as for other diseases - wash your hands with soap and water, stay home if you're sick, wipe down surfaces with disinfectant, and don't touch your eyes, nose, or mouth with unwashed hands.
