Fantasia really tore down the house during the BET Awards earlier this week but she warns that even though she looks like she has it all, she lost everything, twice!
During a radio interview Fantasia admitted that she does everything for herself, cooking, cleaning, working out, “I’m regular. I don’t like the whole celebrity thing,” said Fantasia.
Fantasia says that many celebrities that we say are “barely making it,” just like regular people. The singer says she’s in the process of building herself back up and thanks to Tyler Perry she’s been able to put out her latest album, “Enough” herself.
Tyler Perry’s actually a good friend of mine. He would call and check up on me. He was one of the ones when I lost everything, he came and blessed me. And I thank him for that,” says Fantasia
Fantasia referenced Perry’s speech during the BET Awards where he advised that you should “own your own,” with Fantasia putting out her own music she says “nobody can prostitute her gifts anymore.”
