A Virginia-based staffing company has apologized for an online job posting that requested applicants be "preferably Caucasian".
The posting, which appeared on LinkedIn and other sites, was for an account manager in Tampa, FL. It specified that candidates be "Preferably Caucasian who has good technical background".
After the posting went viral, Cynet Systems removed it and apologized, saying the people involved had been fired.
