FX Orders Lil Dicky Comedy TV Series!

Remember Lil Dicky? He had a song with Chris Brown called “Freaky Friday,” well the comedian/rapper is getting his own television series thanks for his Philly brother, Kevin Hart.

FX has ordered a half-hour show that’s based on Lil Dicky’s life. Dicky co-created the show along with Jeff Schaffer, the two will share executive producer duties along with Saladin Patterson, Greg Mottola, Scooter Braun, and Kevin Hart.

Lil Dicky spoke about the untitled series saying, "I love making people laugh, it’s my favorite thing ever. And even though I’m still fully in love with and committed to my career as a rapper, I’m excited to write jokes that don’t need to rhyme every time. Ugh, that rhymed."

A date and time for the series has yet to be released. You however can get a taste of what Dicky will bring to the table with the video below of his version of 'Cribs'
