R. Kelly Pleads Not Guilty To Charges Of Sexual Abuse

R. Kelly was back in court on Monday morning and he entered a plea of not guilty to charges of sexual abuse.

Kelly was arrested on Friday in Cook County, Illinois over allegations that he had sex with underage girls between 1998 to 2010. Three of the victims are said to be under the age of 17.

His bond is set for $1 million, which he has yet to be able to pay.

Kelly’s lawyer, Steven Greenberg says his “finances are a mess” and that “he doesn’t have any money.” Greenberg told reporters on Friday that the alleged victims are “lying and trying to profit” off the singer.
