Community Members Come Together To Protesting Oakland School Closures

Concerned parents, teachers and former school board members were at the Oakland Unified School District's Board meeting hoping to delay a decision to close almost 30 schools for the sake of closing the district’s $30 million budget gap.

There's supposed to be an audit of the $100 million dollar loan that the district received, but we'll see how things turn out because the community has just a few days to get folks to make a decision before the schools close.

Check out video of Oakland community members coming together to say enough is enough & they dont want the local schools to close.
