Young Money released Lil Wayne's 'The Carter V' Album Cover Art

Lil Wayne’s “The Carter V” finally has a release date, September 21st.

Previously Floyd Mayweather had mysteriously put a “V” and a goat emoji on his Instagram with the hashtag, “21”.

Wayne has used athletes before to promote new music, in 2014 Wayne used Kobe Bryant to promote the release of the Carter IV.

Young Money’s Twitter page posted artwork for “Tha Carter V” with a release date and caption of “Put them 5s up!!!” The Carter V project had been held up due to a legal battle between Wayne and Birdman, Wayne sued Cash Money and Universal for $51 million in 2015 for a termination of his contract.

The two settled for an undisclosed amount and settled the beef during Wayne’s Lil Weezyana Fest last month. Do you think “Tha Carter V” will outdo “Tha Carter I, II, III, or IIII”?
