During her Red Table Talk show, Jada Pinkett-Smith shared her feelings about the day her son Jaden asked to leave home. Jaden was only 15 at the time.
Telling Jaden about it on the show, Jada said, "At 15 years old, Jaden, and I remember this day specifically, it's probably one of the most heartbreaking moments of my life. You got to a point where you told me straight up, you were like, 'Mom, I have to leave here to live my life.'" Jada continued, "I remember thinking to myself, as devastated as I was, I was like, 'He's right.' The time is now. He's 15. It's time for him to leave the house."
Jaden didn't do it after all. Back in 2013, he admitted on the Ellen show that he could "get every and anything" at the house, so he was going to stay around for "20, 30 years."
