'Heat 2' Is happening!

Legendary filmmaker Michael Mann has confirmed Heat 2 is happening. "Yes. Meg Gardiner and myself wrote 'Heat 2,' which came out while filming Ferrari. It did very well. I plan to shoot that next," said Mann during a convention over the weekend. The answer sent fans into a frenzy and amazement after seeming unsure if it would be done last August.
