Over the weekend, 8 people shot while attending a birthday party for a 19 year man. One of the victims, a 18 year old woman died from her wound(s) the other seven are expected to survive. Detectives working the case were able to interview one of the victims but say they still need to talk to a lot more people. Sgt. Kendall Price of the Antioch Police Department, spoke with KTVU news reporters and said the department is checking nearby cameras for license plates of any suspected vehicles coming and leaving the area of the party, and continue interviewing victims and those who were at the party that the police are aware of. A few of the party goers told officers that the gunmen weren't apart of the party and showed up uninvited and started shooting. Although the gunmen fled the scene before the police arrived, investigators are looking for multiple shooters. Prayers to all of those affected.
