This past weekend San Diego lifeguards were busy to say the least. They were dispatched out to an area where a car veered off the road and was left hanging off a cliff. According to reports, the driver drove through a guardrail before coming to a stop on some rocks on a beach. The SUV's driver was facing the ocean as it was parked. Luckily lifeguards were nearby to save the man as crews secured the automobile with ropes and a life pulley system. The overall rescue took about an hour and a half.
