Mountain Lion Attacked Family Dog After Sneaking Into Their North Bay Home

If you live in the bay area you might wanna keep those windows closed if you don't want to be like Rebecca Kracker, who had to fend of a mountain lion who entered her home and attacked her family dog. On November 28th a mountain lion entered her home in Santa Rosa and dragged one of her family dogs outside. She mentioned on Facebook how she was watching her dogs play on the living room when all of a sudden one of her dogs, a border collie, started growling in the kitchen. When she went to check on her dog she was shocked to see that a mountain lion had the dog by the neck dragging it outside. She mention how she tried to scare the lion away but was unsuccessful at first until her neighbor who heard the commotion came over with his gun and shot at the lion scaring it away. Gratefully, the dog survived and the lion was caught and put down by a Sonoma County trapper. Full Story via the SFGATE HERE
