Mother and Son Both Killed in House Fire in Walnut Creek

Around 6:30a this morning Walnut Creek Fire Department responded to a townhome in flames. One person survived and informed the fire crew there were two more people with a dog upstairs in the home. All have died. A spokes person for the Contra Costa County fire department said the fire was started by accident. Story below.
