Along with my sis Radio Rubina, I had the honor of interviewing Two of Oakland's own, Too Short & Mistah F.A.B. They stopped by to discuss the release of Too Short's latest album, The Pimp Tape. The album features Hip-Hop legends Snoop Dogg & E-40 to features from Mozzy, T.I.,Philthy Rich, Ty Dolla Sign, & G-Eazy.
On this podcast we connect music and technology together. We asked Too Short how has the game changed from when he was recording albums back in the day to how everyone basically uses Pro Tools now, & how he adapted to it all. Both, Too Short & Mistah F.A.B slid through the station to discuss the importance of the OG's giving game to the younger generation and how keeping it real is how Too Short stayed relevant in the game for so many years. Short speaks on how Fab motivated him to create this album and how Mistah F.A.B also A&R'd the entire album from making calls and text to getting verses from rappers. In regards to getting features, at one point in the interview I asked Too Short "Who would tell Too Short no?" his response was "Nobody!" Exactly my thoughts.
Shout out Too Short & Mistah F.A.B for the interview! & shout out Radio Rubina for the alley oop!
