On this day back in 2007, Hip-Hop legend Pimp C of the Texas made Hip Hop group known as UGK passed away due to an accidental overdose of the cough medicine know in the Hip-Hop world as lean.
11 years later, his partner, Bun B. still remembers him as the man he was, calling him a "Brother, son, father, husband, teacher, and most of all the best friend he ever had."
Bun called today "UGK Day" on his instagram post where he had a collage of photos of him and the late pimp C. He said he will be listening to UGK all day and also encouraged everyone to do the same.
