Zendaya and John David Washington Shot a Secret Movie During Quarantine

Euphoria creator Sam Levinson shot a secret movie during the current coronavirus pandemic with actors Zendaya and John David Washington! The film is titled, Malcolm & Marie and was filmed between June 17 and July 2 at the Caterpillar House in Carmel, California-- arguably the first feature film to be made during the pandemic. 

According to Deadline, the film has “some echoes of Netflix’s ‘Marriage Story,’ while resonating [with] a number of social themes which the world is experiencing right now.”

Fans are more than excited to see Oakland's own, Zendaya back on the big screen! This is Zendaya’s first lead role in a non-Disney movie.
