Netflix co-founder and CEO Reed Hastings is donating $120 million to historically black colleges such as Morehouse and Spellman. According to The Wall Street Journal the funds will be split among Morehouse and Spelman Colleges and the United Negro College Fund.
Jasmyn Lawson, who is an Editor at Netflix and is behind Strong Black Lead, had a full circle moment as she shared a reminiscent moment of her time at Spellman amid the Netflix news.
