Germany's Bundesliga will be the first football, or soccer, league to start in Europe. All sports stopped around the world when cases of coronavirus took over. The return date will be May 15 or possibly May 22. Nine match days remain in the season and is said to be completed by June 30.
Fans will not be allowed inside the stadiums just yet. Players have voiced their fears of returning to play. Specially after having fans show up outside the stadium. Teams have started training in early April.
Germany had 164,807 confirmed cases of the virus and 6,996 deaths. Other European countries have cancelled the remainder of soccer seasons. Italy, Spain, and England are possibly returning in June.
