Lil Baby's track "Catch The Sun" off of the Queen & Slim soundtrack now has an accompanying music video.
Starring both Lil Baby and Jayda Cheaves (Youtuber and his girlfriend), the video quickly establishes that the two are on the run from the law. The narrative and dramatic/romantic tone of the music video is similar to what we experience in Queen & Slim.
The music video was directed by Cameron Busby who also directed the video for another Queen & Slim track "Ride Or Die" by Megan Thee Stallion and Vickeelo. Both videos are an artistic mix of black and white and warm and grainy shots. However, the "Ride Or Die" video focuses on the more glamorous parts of being an outlaw. "Catch The Sun" delves into the pain and reality of knowing you and your partner in crime may not have much time left together.
