Meek Mill Will Make His Film Debut At Sundance Film Festival

Meek Mill is weeks away from making his silver screen debut at the Sundance Film Festival. The rapper will be starring in the Angel Manuel Soto directed drama Charm City Kings which is set to have its world premiere at the festival on January 27th, 2020.

The film is an adaptation of the 2013 documentary 12 O'Clock Boys. Mill will be taking on the role of Blax, the leader of the infamous group of dirt-bikers in Baltimore known as the Midnight Clique. The film's main protagonist, fourteen-year-old Mouse is desperate to join the crew following the tragic death of his older brother who was a top rider in the Midnight Clique, prompting Blax to take the boy under his wing.

Mill will star alongside Jahi Di'Allo Winston, Will Catlett, Teyonah Parris, Donielle Tremaine Hansley, Kezii Curtis and Marvin Raheem. The film is also executive produced by Jada Pinkett Smith and Will Smith through their production company Overbrook Entertainment.

Charm City Kings will be out in select cities on April 10th, followed by a wide release on April 17th. Check out the trailer below.
