Bay Area legend E-40 stopped by our AT&T THANKS Sound Studio to talk about all his new endeavors. Out of everything he has going on, outside of music his favorite thing to do is sell alcohol.
My favorite thing is selling adult beverages. It goes so good with music, you know music and alcohol is therapeutic. You just gotta drink in moderation not ignoration.
E-40 has many alcoholic beverages available from tequila to wine and is expanding his selection in 2020.
I got Tycoon Vodka coming in late February, Tycoon congiac, 8 year old bourbon called Kuiper belt. So I got kuiper belt bourbon and kuiper belt gin.
After all the years E-40 has stayed relevant in the music game and gave us some insight on how he does it.
You gotta have a passion for it. I was dedicated, I played drums from the 4th grade all the way to the 12th...MC Hammer motivated us. We wasn't able to get no record deals that early in the game so we said we are going to do it ourselves so that's when we mastered the independent game, we were the trendsetters of that.
One thing that is looking forward to do is creating a movie about his life. E-40 has gone through a lot and wants the world to see how he has hustled and made his name known.
A movie, a movie about my life, about me...about my life growing up. I just know my movie would be a fool! I got a story to tell.
