Roddy Ricch Teams Up With Eight-Piece Orchestra For "Trap Symphony"

Roddy Ricch's star is rapidly rising. He's been on KMEL's Top Songs chart for an impressive amount of time with his feature on Mustard's "Ballin." Even though its a feature, Ricch sings throughout the song with one of the most infectious melodies to hit hip-hop stations in recent memory. His solo music has proved to be just as successful. Yesterday, Billboard reported that Ricch's debut studio album, Please Excuse Me for Being Antisocial, went straight to No. 1 on the Billboard 200 chart.

Ricch was recently the latest artist to take on Audiomack's "Trap Symphony." For the performance, Ricch was backed by an eight-piece orchestra and sang some of his biggest singles, "Intro," "Start Wit Me," "Down Below," "Die Young," and "Ballin." The reimagined songs gave Ricch the chance to show off just how much of a grasp he has on both rapping and singing. While melodic trap is done by many of his fellow artists on the scene today, Ricch's vocal quality and flow give him a unique, soulful sound. One that will without a doubt take him far.

Check out the performance below.
