This week's episode of Hot Ones was the Season 10 finale and they definitely saved the best for last! Actor John Boyega, best known for his role as Finn in Star Wars, stopped by talk about his acting career, being Nigerian, loving anime, and connecting with fellow sci-fi geeks.
The entire interview is a must-watch as it features proof of Boyega's time as a stock photo model used for college brochures and he even gets offers some recommendations for people who want to get into anime. Things really start to heat up half way through when Boyega doubles down on his belief that Anakin Skywalker is a better Jedi than Rey. Then he reviews Youtube videos of Star Wars die hards practicing their best light saber skills.
The interview was a great way to hype people up about the highly anticipated Star Wars Episode IX: The Rise of Skywalker which will hit theaters everywhere on December 20, 2019. Knowing that the actors involved in the movie are just as invested in the story and world of Stars Wars as the fans deepens the already magical effect of the classic franchise.
