Last night Meek Mill encouraged fans opened up to fans on twitter. Using the hashtag #AskMeek, Mill answered fan questions for an hour.
One person asked a question that's on every fans mind: will he be dropping any music before the decade comes to an end. The question prompted a response from the rapper.
It's tough to tell if Meek Mill was being serious or if he had previous plans to drop new music in 2019. If he does drop an album, it would be a follow up to his 2018's Championships which turns a year on November 30th.
Some fans tweeted back urging him not to rush his next project. If Meek Mill's only reason to drop an album is to be included in the end of year conversations, maybe someone should remind him that not only is 2019 ending, so are the 2010s. And it's likely hip hop outlets will mention his 2018 effort in their retrospective conversations.
