James Corden is bringing more of his British sensibility to CBS. The Late Late Show host will executive produce a new game show called Game On that will include elements of sports, trivia, and physical challenges. The show's format and execution will be based on the British show A League of Their Own, which has been hosted by Corden in the past.
Corden and CBS have tapped Keegan-Michael Key to host the show and he will be joined by Venus Williams and Rob Gronkowski, who will lead teams of various celebrities. According to The Hollywood Reporter, "They'll compete in over-the-top physical challenges like seeing who can dunk the most basketballs over a tank of water while harnessed to a bungee cord. They'll also answer sports-adjacent trivia questions..."
A premiere date has not yet been announced.
