Hollywood loves to work a good franchise to the bone. If the missions can get more impossible and the fast faster, the furious even furious-er, then the boys can get badder. And while we could complain about how they're running out of ideas, we could also just grab a bucket of buttery popcorn and indulge in the thrill of being able to see Will Smith blow things up and Marin Lawrence have a panic attack on the big screen again.
This time the detectives are on a mission to save Will Smith's character Lowrey and are unenthusiastically teaming up with a group of millennial detectives.
During a montage of action, Lowrey has a guy pinned to a table and is about to smash his hand with a hammer. It's definitely a blink-and-you'll-miss-it moment, but that unfortunate guy is none other than DJ Khaled. Will Smith announced the Miami producer's cameo back in March of this year, but this is the first time we're actually seeing him on the screen.
Bad Boys For Life will be in theaters on January 17, 2020.
