On Monday morning Apple revealed the new AirPods Pro. With a $249 price tag, Apple promises to make the upgraded wireless earbuds worthwhile.
The new AirPods now include features like Active Noise Cancellation, which is a trend that many other audio brands have been quick to jump on. Bose and Sony both have noise cancelling wireless earbuds on the market. However, AirPods Pro also offers a Transparency Mode that users can switch to when they need to be aware of their surroundings. Switching between Active Noise Cancellation and Transparency Mode is made easy by pressing another new addition, the force sensor.
Because Apple is aware that their audio quality may not be on par with companies like Bose and Sony, AirPods Pro also have an Adaptive EQ which is supposed to tune music to the shape of your ear for the best audio experience.
The product will be made available in stores on October 30th but preorders began today. Will you be getting a pair?
