H.E.R.'s New Music Video Is A Love Letter To The Bay Area

H.E.R. finally released a new music video for her latest song "Slide" featuring YG. The collab dropped in late September and fans have been patiently waiting for the accompanying music video. Now that its finally here, fans are excited to see the video is a visually stunning homage to the Bay Area and its culture.

Some of the first few shots are of Vallejo, the singer's hometown. As she ghost rides the whip through the streets, she's accompanied by friends showing off their wheels and dancers pulling out their best moves on the platform of the Embarcadero BART station. The video, directed by Mike Ho, also features shots of the Grand Lake Theatre, West Oakland BART, and footage of H.E.R.'s performance at her September Lights On Festival in Concord.

The video concludes with a behind the scenes moment of H.E.R. telling her crew, "we are gonna say 'yee' on three okay? Cause we in the Bay!"
