Meet the Cast of Hulu’s New Wu-Tang Series!

Good news for Wu-Tang fans, the cast of Hulu’s new Wu-Tang series has been announced. Hulu has ordered 10 episodes of Wu-Tang: An American Saga. The series is based on the Wu-Tang Manual and The Tao of the Wu, both written by Wu-Tang member, RZA.

RZA also has written and executive produced the Hulu series and playing him is Ashton Sanders, which you may remember from Moonlight. Ghostface Killa will be played by Siddiq Saunderson, who previously played “Keon Brooks” in Messiah. From the movie Dope, Shameik Moore will portray “Sha Rader,” a tough street guy from Wu’s Staten Island beginnings.

Marcus Callender, will play Oli “Power” Grant who executive produced a lot of Wu’s music and was the creator of “Wu-Wear”, Callender is also a Straight Outta Compton alum but may be remembered more for his role as “Ray-Ray” on Power. Finally, actress Zolee Griggs will play “Shurrie,” who dated Ghostface Killa and was the sister of RZA. No release date for the series has been set, but be on the lookout for it on Hulu.
