There has been quite a buzz surrounding the new documentary, ‘Leaving Neverland.’
James Safechuck and Wade Robson received a standing ovation at the Sundance premiere for their recounts of alleged abuse at the hands of Michael. Critics of the movie call it shocking.
Michael Jackson’s estate, however, has slammed the film calling it a “public lynching.”
They released a statement,
“Michael always turned the other cheek, and we have always turned the other cheek when people have gone after members of our family - that is the Jackson way. But we can't just stand by while this public lynching goes on, and the vulture tweeters and others who never met Michael go after him."
The movie is set to be released later this year.
