Tragedy struck on New Year's Eve when a man carried out a senseless act on a young black girl.
On Sunday, a white male said to be in his 40's shot into a car in the Houston area, killing 7-year-old Jazmine Barnes and injuring others. The family and community are urging people to help in the search for the gunman and to bring justice.
There is a $35,000 reward to anyone that finds the gunman as well.
