Floyd Mayweather and DJ Khaled were named in a class action cryptocurrency lawsuit that claims that millions of dollars were scammed from investors.
Centra Tech used Floyd Mayweather and DJ Khaled to push their cryptocurrency on social media calling it a ‘game changer’Centra Tech raised $32 million in backing during 2017’s celebrity-driven campaign according to the lawsuit, the founders of the company were arrested in April and are facing securities fraud, wire fraud, and conspiracy charges.
The Securities and Exchange Commission says the company was operating illegally, misleading investors and several CEO’s named on the company website was made up.
