It's been a tumultuous day in politics and hip-hop with Kanye West making the highly talked about visit to the White House to talk with Donald Trump about the 13th Amendment, prison reform, mental health, and social policy.
While there Kanye went onto say that people try to scare him into not wearing his MAGA hat, but he feels like it gives him power and that he loves Donald Trump. A reporter went on to ask the president if Kanye would be a future presidential candidate and the president answered with, "he very well could be."
Well rapper T.I. took some time to gather his thoughts on the whole situation in an Instagram post saying,
"From what I can gather... This is the most repulsive, disgraceful, Embarrassing act of desperation & auctioning off of one’s soul to gain power I’ve ever seen."
He even took time to speak to the fans of Kanye saying,
"To all the people who follow Ye musically, socially, or even personally....who are confused, heartbroken, infuriated.... Let me make this clear... THIS SHIT AINT COOL!!! THIS IS A MOVE YE MADE FOR YE!!! THIS IS A PLAY TO PUT HIM IN A POSITION HE’D LIKE TO SEE HIMSELF IN...WE ARE NOT ON HIS MIND AS HE MAKES THESE COMMENTS AND DECISIONS."
Activists Shaun King commented on T.I's post saying,
"Perfectly said man. Spot on"
BIGVON, DC, Lexx Jonez, and DJ D-Sharp got together to talk about whether they are still rocking with Kanye after his White House visit, and what artists that they would support that are trying to make a comeback!
