Ayanna Pressley just made history in Boston by beating long time Democratic Rep. Michael Capuano, who served 10 terms, in the election to represent Boston in Congress. She has now become the first Black woman EVER to be elected to Congress from the city.

Of her race and of her win she told reporters,

"This is a fight for the soul of our party and the future of our democracy...This is a disruptive candidacy, a grassroots coalition. It is broad and diverse and deep. People of every walk of life.”

Check out the heart-warming video of Ayanna when she found out she had won!
