Warriors head coach Steve Kerr has never been one to shy away from talking about political issues on topics he is passionate about. That's why he is widely respected not just throughout the NBA but with the general public as well.

When President Trump uninvited the Warriors from visiting the White House, post their 2017 NBA Finals win, tweeting, "Going to the White House is considered a great honor for a championship team.Stephen Curry is hesitating, therefore invitation is withdrawn!"

To which Coah Kerr responded "We would, in normal times, very easily be able to set aside political differences and go visit and have a great time," Kerr said. "That'll be awesome. But these are not ordinary times. Probably the most divisive times in my life, I guess, since Vietnam...."

Coach Kerr has also spoken out multiple times on the need for gun safety, with all the mass shootings in schools that have been happening in the US and also because his own family was affected by gun violence...

Recently, the NRA had said that they are going through a financial crisis saying they would be as SpeedReads reported, "unable to exist" to which Coach Kerr had a brilliant response by saying, "Don't send money..... thoughts and prayers should suffice."

Support for the hilarious tweet came flooding in for Coach Kerr
