Donald Glover is having a GREAT year! His "This is America" song blew up and the video blew up the internet in addition to dropping two new tracks this week. He starred in Solo: A Star Wars Story and got cast as Simba in Disney's live action remake of The Lion King! Well, as if that wasn't enough today's 70th Primetime Emmy Awards Nominations were announced and things are looking good for the Childish Gambino. His critically acclaimed series, Atlanta was nominated for Outstanding Comedy Series and Glover himself is nominated in the Lead Actor in a Comedy Series! Not bad right? Here's hoping Glover delivers another great speech like he gave last year when he was the first African American actor to win the Lead Actor in a Comedy Series.
Of course, who can forget the now classic thank you speech Glover gave when he won his second Emmy that night. Who can forget the infamous thanks to The Migos?!
Migos better send Glover a thank you gift for pretty much helping their song blow up. As for Glover, he better start getting his next acceptance speech ready.
