A 7-year-old boy from Guatemala who was separated from his mother, has been reunited with her on Friday morning after she sued the federal court.
Beata Mariana de Jesus Mejia-Mejia, the mother, had filed for political asylum after she crossed the border with her son, after a long journey from Guatemala. Beata says that she was so happy to be reunited with her some and is never going to be apart with him again.
The two will be traveling to Texas together, while their asylum is decided.
