Michael Finney, is 21-year-old Carl’s Jr. supervisor turned local hero when he helped a stranger who was shot at the YouTube campus in San Bruno, Calif. by tying a makeshift Bungee-cord- around one of the women that was shot in the leg.
And now, strangers are pitching in to help him.
A team headed by computer engineer Amar Amte started a GoFundMe Page to thank him for helping the woman during the shooting that occurred on April 3rd.
Finney told KTVU that, “she was scared of course, but not in shock,” and he told USA Today that he wants to go to college and that is why he is working at Carl's Jr. to save money.
The GoFundMe page already hit $24,000 – which doubled it's initial goal!
