Contra Costa County Animal Services Department is offering free adoptions this week from Thursday to Saturday in order to free up shelters that are getting crowded!
There are currently 138 dogs and 81 cats available for adoption on the shelter's website, as well as other animals such as bunnies, guinea pigs and a pigeon.
You will only have to pay a $20 licensing fee, as opposed to their standard adoption costs that can go from $104 to $284.
