It sounds like The Weeknd is singing about his past relationships with Selena Gomez and Bella Hadid on his new album My Dear Melancholy.
Since the music was released late Thursday night, fans and music critics have been breaking down the lyrics of some of the songs. In Call Out My Name, The Weeknd seems to reference Gomez's kidney transplant saying "I almost cut a piece of myself for your life." The speculation is that he could have been a potential donor. He also references Gomez leaving him for Justin Bieber saying, "Guess I was just another pitstop 'Til you made up your mind."
As far as Hadid, The Weeknd referenced her in the song, Wasted Times. He sang about her horse riding past by saying, "You were an equestrian, so ride it like a champion." He also possibly took a shot at Gomez by allegedly telling Hadid, "Wasted times I spent with someone else. She wasn't even half of you."
Fans have also been giving rave reviews of the album on twitter!
