Mary J. Blige and Kendu Isaacs reached an agreement with Isaacs two days before the Academy Awards.
Blige was married to Isaacs for 12 years and then a much publicized battle began between the two that had Isaacs asking for $30,000/month spousal support. Followed by asking courts for an increase of support to $129,139/month.
Mary then appeared on the BET Awards and performed "Set Me Free" and "Love Yourself" from her Scent of a Woman album to which Isaacs didn't like at all. Even though Mary didn't take an Oscar home Sunday, she's proud of herself for making it through despite all the drama, "This moment is the pay-off, and this moment says, you know what Mary? You stated strong."
