DJ Khaled had everyone's attention after jumped into a sea of college football fans and went crowd-surfing.
The Miami-based artist was in Orlando on Saturday, September 28, to catch the University of Central Florida take on the University of Colorado. While they were in town, Khaled and Fat Joe made a surprise appearance during the live broadcast of FOX's "Big Noon Kickoff" ahead of the big game. Before he signed off, Khaled told the audience he wanted to crowd-surf. Fans reassured him that they would catch him before he made the brave leap into the sea of people behind him.
Khaled had a lot of support from fans who successfully carried him over the packed crowd. He made it out without a scratch on him, which sparked plenty of discussion among fans. Some people were impressed that no one dropped him. Others commended the fans for being strong enough to hold Khaled up and float him around the crowd.
"How they managed to carry him needs to be studied," one fan joked.
DJ Khaled's appearance on "Big Noon Kickoff" happened a couple of weeks after he and Fat Joe debuted their new song "Paradise" featuring Anitta. Joey Crack, Khaled and Anitta performed their collaboration live for the first time at the 2024 MTV Video Music Awards in New York City. They also dropped the Eif Rivera-directed music video on the same night. The song may appear on Fat Joe's forthcoming solo album coming soon.
